Brampton is owned by Rustenberg and are more fruit driven in a New World style than the Rustenberg wines, but still with old world leanings and are, perhaps, therefore more suited to food matchings as well as informal "quaffing". Other Rhone and Italian varieties are currently being trialled in the vineyards for future release.
